Who we are

Movl (movl.ai) is a platform where you create AI agents, chat with them and hand them tasks that run in the background. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and the name you give us. We sign you in with a one-time code sent by email; we do not store passwords.

Content: the agents you create, your conversations, tasks and their results, and files such as avatars you upload.

Workspace data: workspaces you belong to, members, roles and invitations.

Usage and billing data: the tokens used by model calls, credit balances, your plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.

Technical data: device and app version, language, and logs needed to run and secure the service.

Push notification token: if you allow notifications, we store your phone's push token to tell you when a task finishes or needs you. You can turn this off in the app, and the token is removed when you sign out.

Error reports: when the app or the service fails, a report with the technical error (app version, device model, the place in the code) is sent to our error-tracking provider. We configure it not to collect your content, messages, email or IP address; a report carries only an internal account id.

Camera: the app asks for camera access only to scan a QR code that signs your phone in; images are not stored or sent.

How we use it

To provide the service: sign you in, run your agents and tasks, sync your data across devices, and share it with the members of your workspace.

To charge for usage and manage subscriptions, to protect the service from abuse, and to fix problems and improve the product.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your content to train models.

Who processes your data

To answer you, your messages and the context of a conversation are sent to the model provider of the agent you use (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). If you connect your own provider key, requests go to that provider under your account.

We also use service providers for hosting and storage, email delivery and payments. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Sharing inside a workspace

Agents, tasks and the members list belong to a workspace and are visible to its members according to their roles. Your conversations are private to you unless the agent owner enables sharing of threads.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Task logs are deleted after 90 days. You can delete your account in the app; this removes your personal data and the content you own, subject to what we must keep by law (for example payment records).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Provider keys you give us are encrypted at rest and are never shown again. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct and delete your data in the app, or ask us to do it. If you are in the EU, the UK or Ukraine, you also have the rights given by the applicable data protection law, including the right to complain to the supervisory authority.

Children

Movl is not intended for children under 16.
